Hello Alumnae!
Thank you so much for visiting the webpage and thinking of donating! We know that some years are the years that you have babies, get a house, get married, start a new job - so we understand that this might not be a donation year for you - and its understandable. Please consider ranking essays and giving of your time instead!! Here are the frequently asked questions that Alumnae in your position have wondered about. Please feel free to use the contact page to ask any more questions you might have that are not covered here. Q: How can I donate? A; You can donate on this webpage using most brands of credit or debit card! Click here to do so now! The link takes you to the page that explains the process. You can also mail a check for any amount. You will receive an email confirmation when your donation is received. Q: Where should I send a payment should I choose not to donate through the website?

Q: What are DZ dues for active Sisters? A: They are approx $55 per month for 8 months. Remember all those fees we loved? This amount includes the contingency fee, furnishing fee, parlor fee, and Panhell dues. They are rolling that all into what they call dues, and so we pay for that. We do not cover any fines they incur or T-shirt costs, rent, etc.
Q: Do I need to donate to rank essays? Or rank essays to donate?
A: NO - you can do whatever you want! That’s the best part - you can contribute in whatever way you can, and if this just isn't your year to donate or have spare time, this will happen again next year!
Q: Are the contributions tax deductible?
A: These donation are not tax deductible. After working with the President and VP of the DZ Foundation last year in order to make that a reality, we found out it requires quite a few more dollars than we have and also giving up control of the scholarship - just think no more heart warming essays for you to read!
Q: When is the money due?
A: The money is due through the website by March 31st 2009 at 7pm. Should you want to write a check, please let me know you are sending it, and also send it 5-7 days before the deadline. You can use the contact form to let me know or email dzlightoftheflame@hotmail.com I will write one lump sum check to the chapter once I have received the funds.
**Should anyone ever want to see the paperwork, ledger or anything, it is all open for your viewing. This is YOUR scholarship too, and I am open to anyone viewing the financial info (if Alumnae would like to keep donation private, I can use "Anonymous" instead of your name) |
